I offer integrative counselling for adults experiencing stress, anxiety and depression in relation to a variety of life, work and relationship challenges.

My approach:

My approach is to use an integrative, relational and intuitive style. I draw on a variety of theories and techniques to work in a way that I feel will meet:

  • The needs of the person
  • The presenting concern(s) and
  • The time-frame negotiated for the work.

My core beliefs are that every person:

  • Is unique, growing and responding to life in the best way they can, using the ‘resources’ they currently have available.
  • Has a wealth of ‘personal wisdom’ within, which can be accessed for healing and to create positive changes for personal development.
  • Has the potential to access, embrace and take ‘ownership’ of their feelings, emotions and thoughts and become their own loving, nurturing and supportive ‘best-friend’.
  • Has the power within to regain their personal “response-ability” and choose positive actions for themselves, their lives and relationships.

I believe the therapeutic relationship offers a safe, warm and holding space for the person:

  • To identify blocks to their personal growth.
  • To learn strategies and techniques to assist coping.
  • To access personal wisdom.
  • To heal.

I am currently studying with Gestalt Centre Wales and Psyche and Soma Wales.
